DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC: JULIE

Julie’s passion has always been working with horses, but years of physical demands led to debilitating back pain that affected both her career and her quality of life. The ongoing pain forced her to take significant time away from work, impacting her mental wellbeing and creating financial stress.

Despite being prescribed strong pain medication by her GP, Julie found little relief and experienced unwanted side effects. After an MRI scan and consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon, she was advised that spinal surgery was the next option. Faced with the risks, lengthy recovery, and uncertainty of surgery, Julie began searching for a natural, evidence-based alternative.

Following a course of chiropractic care, Julie experienced life-changing improvements in her pain, mobility, and overall wellbeing. Inspired by her own recovery, she embarked on the five-year journey to qualify as a chiropractor so she could help others achieve similar results through safe, gentle, and non-invasive chiropractic treatment.

Today, Julie is passionate about helping patients overcome back pain, neck pain, joint stiffness, postural problems, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Her goal is to help every patient regain confidence in their movement, reduce pain naturally, and return to the activities they love without relying on medication whenever appropriate.

Julie is registered with General Council of Chiropractic (No.4817) and a proud member of the The McTimoney Chiropractic Association ensuring every patient receives professional, high-quality chiropractic care delivered to the highest clinical standards.

Massage Therapist: Richard

Richard has always been passionate about helping people move better, recover from injury, and feel their best through effective, hands-on massage therapy. His interest in movement, rehabilitation, and physical performance inspired him to qualify as a Sports Massage Therapist, where he now helps clients reduce muscle tension, relieve pain, improve flexibility, and restore mobility.

Richard holds a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage, an FHT-accredited qualification, and specialises in sports massage, deep tissue massage, and therapeutic soft tissue treatments. Every treatment is tailored to the individual, whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, managing back pain, neck pain, and shoulder tension, addressing postural issues, or looking for regular massage therapy to maintain muscle health and prevent future injuries.

With a calm, professional, and client-focused approach, Richard believes effective massage therapy goes beyond treating individual aches and pains. By assessing how the whole body moves, he develops personalised treatment plans that help reduce muscular discomfort, improve posture, increase range of movement, speed up recovery, and support long-term physical wellbeing.

Richard is passionate about helping clients relieve pain naturally, recover faster, improve movement, and enjoy the benefits of regular sports massage, deep tissue massage, and wellbeing treatments, enabling them to stay active, perform at their best, and continue doing the activities they love with greater comfort and confidence.
